Funding

At the present time, Harvest Share is receiving funding from the District of Parry Sound Social Services Administration Board, The Toronto United Church Council and The Ontario Trillium Foundation.

Approximately two-thirds of Harvest Share's annual operating expenses are donated by the local community in the form of financial donations plus in-kind services, goods and labor. Financial support is also provided by government and non-profit organizations.

Most of Harvest Share's programs are fee-for-service. All of the fees are geared for low-income budgets.

Any profits generated by Harvest Share programs are either used to improve access to nutritious food or to create paid, meaningful employment.
