We are hosting a Halloween dance on October 22nd at the Curling Club in Parry Sound
DJ/Bar/amazing prizes to be won. Decorations to be done by Parry Sounds famous Douglas Family Harvest Share Halloween Dance Tickets available at Hillcrest Grocers, Home Celebrations Down town or 22A Miller Street

Where: Parry Sound Curling Club

August 30, 2011 Summer Raffle

Prizes Donated by Home Depot in Parry Sound. We have for raffle an amazing package consisting of One BBQ, One Leaf Blower, 4 chairs and a 100. Grocery gift card....tickets are $2.00 each and can be purchased at Hillcrest Grocers, or by dropping by the office at 22A Miller Street.

Draw will take place on Aug 30th.

Spring Food Drive

This year we are partnering with Hammond Buses to do a town door to door food Drive

If you could put your donation of non-perishable food on the curbside that evening, busses and volunteers will pick it up during the above time. Bags can also be left hanging on doors or on front porches visible to volunteers retrieving them.

Harvest Share thanks the community in advance…Assisting us in this food Drive.

Parry Sounds 7th Annual Pike Tournament

Blast off at 8:00 a.m. from Big Sound Marina and weigh-in at 3:30 p.m.
Entry fee $200, $20 entry for ‘Big Fish’ (2 persons per boat)
Live release - live wells mandatory

A Donation from PS Pike tournament will be supporting Harvest Share.

Gail MacDonald is participating in this years Out of the Cold Event to raise pubic awareness and much needed support for Harvest Share. She will be sitting in a cardboard box in front of St. James United church.

If you want to participate, please fill in the Out of the Cold Event form.

To reach our goal, we hope that each participant finds 10 sponsors. Please dress warm, bring a flashlight.

Harvest Share is planning to host an event that will be district wide. Bringing awareness of poverty and hunger in our district is part of our responsibility.

This event is from 10 until 3.
Please come out and support our town-wide food Drive Buckets will be located at the same locations accepting coins for cans.

First Annual Appreciation Event

We are calling back all past Board Members, volunteers and staff and joining each other for a hot chili dinner. Lots of shared stories of events we have had and some real history stories. Mark you calendars for this upcoming event.

March 1, 2009 Easter Food Drive

We hope to have local stores allow us to hand out empty food bags in front of the store to be filled with easter donations. We are also accepting change for cans in hopes to purchase canned items that are needed in our food bank.
